Outline: Follow the instructions below to play the Young Money online game show. Aim: Earn points by answering questions (correctly). There are 20 of these, a mix of general knowledge and financial. If you're not sure of any financial ones, take a look at the Financial Toolbox (Shockwave style). Money isn't everything. In the game, as with life, it's a good idea to have fun along the way. The trick's just finding the right balance between business and pleasure. Choices you make might have an effect later in the game. You start at age 15, after 20 questions you'll retire at 65. If you do well you can stick your details into the high-score table at the end. Scoring: There are a whole host of scoring features which include: 100 points for a correct general-knowledge question. 150 points for a correct financial question. If your total score is in the black, you get an extra 5% on top after every question. If it's in the red, 5% will be deducted after each question. Your score is shown in the lectern (bottom left). Also shown in the lectern are any other items you buy during the game, e.g. a house. The items get totalled up with the rest of your score at the end of the game. |
